I was brought up to look and see what I was looking at, and to see and look at what I was seeing but also with curiosity. What better creative start in life could anyone wish to have?
Living and working in the South West of England gave me a host of fascinating subjects to observe. I have always had a camera to hand, but my passion for photography developed later in life, after a career as a primary school teacher.
The benefits of digital cameras have made an enormous impact on my work.
Seeing, composing, taking, processing, printing, mounting, framing and exhibiting my work, talks, workshops, individual tuition, commissions and projects have given me huge pleasure and I am told, given pleasure and interest to others.
If it moves, I shoot it, if it stays still, I shoot it.
